SSC CGL Tier-1 result released on ssc.nic.in


This exam was conducted online from 3 to 9 March 2020, computer-based. Out of 9,78,103 candidates who appeared from all over the country in the preliminary examination, 1,53,621 have been successful for the next stage exam i.e Tier-II.

Tier II exam will be held in October. The commission has released three lists of successful students.

  • The first list has the names of 8,951 candidates who have been successful for Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Account Officer, who will appear for the first, second and fourth question papers in Tier Two.
  • The second list has the names of 19,391 candidates cleared for Junior Statistics Officer and Statistics Investigator Grade-II, who will appear for the first, second and third question papers in Tier-II.
  • The third list has the maximum number of 1,25,279 candidates. These candidates have been successful for all other posts included in this recruitment. The candidates included in the third list will appear for the first and second question papers in Tier-II.

The final answer key and question paper will be uploaded on the Commission's website on July 7, along with the marks obtained by the candidates involved in this examination.

The candidates will be able to download and watch till August 6. In this examination, 4,90,907 candidates from UP and Bihar, who came under SSC Central Zone office in Prayagraj, were to be included.

Of these, 2,42,935 i.e. 49.49 percent of the candidates appeared in the examination. The examination was conducted in 19 cities of both states.
